Working within a footprint of just 286 m2, our challenge was to create a home that unlocked the potential of the space without feeling confined, by utilising light, indoor/outdoor flow, and finishing it all off with the warm and textural elements that have become a quintessential part of a Coast home.
Upon arrival, your first impression of the home will be its industrial-esque elevation, which certainly makes for a grand statement. Internally, natural light ‘highlights the highlights’, such as an open tread spine staircase, polished urban concrete flooring and all of the latest fittings, including gunmetal and rose gold tapware. Outside the courtyard area showcases a floating barbecue, cascading planters and stepping stone koi pond – a great entertaining space that doubles as a lovely outlook. The Rochdale proves that a smaller block doesn’t have to compromise on a sense of space and style.
